Hello everyone! I need help IDing a fish. It's not mine, but a friend says he bought it as a red-tail catfish, and he's had it 10yrs. It's in a 240gal(I'm aware that's too small but he disagrees). Now, I'm not an expert on rtc, but this fish just doesn't look like one to me. I'm assuming it's dull because it's not healthy, but it doesn't look stocky enough, I'm not sure if it's just weird looking from growing up in poor habitat or it's a hybrid of some kind, or maybe its just an ugly rtc. I'd like to get some knowledgeable opinions please. Thanks alot!
