So Cal
Was going through old photo albums, and thought Id share some of the most aggressive,
and also some of the most beautiful cichlids I have ever owned; these are from the past.
Transformation pics and vids to follow.

The beani, hyper aggressive pair, vid shows a close-up battle of a male (All gold) vs a female (Black bars) at such a young age/size
Male

Female was dominant at first

But over time, The dominant male eventually killed the female and all 6 other beani in the 75g tank with no mercy

The bartoni, cousin of the beani, were surprisingly very aggressive for a small cichlid. This vid is a non-stop 3-way battle of
1 male vs 2 females

Formed a pair eventually and spawned

Lastly, not a CA/SA fish, but wanted to share because this hybrid was by far the most aggressive cichlid I had ever kept (at a young age, more so than the beani, and even buttikoferi I had kept)
The vid shows at such a young age, he was afraid of nothing and would constantly glass bang. I eventually could not put my hand into the tank, he would attack and bite my skin off to make me bleed!

He was what many called a PK, or Petsmart Kamfa. As they were labeled as red texas, but truly were, for the most part, flowerhorns/kamfas.
However, mine was a hybrid of a vieja/kamfa. Deadly combo as you will see in the vid; took him no time to settle in as this vid was the 1st day I picked him up and went straight to beast mode.

So Cal
Thanks for the feedback guys

The bartoni quickly became one of my top favorite cichlids, their tuxedo breeding dress is jus astonishing.

And their aggressiveness (as seen in the vid) proved that they really are cousins of the hyper aggressive beani ;)
