Nice RTM. I would be careful with tankmates. I got mine about 3 months ago. Same size are yours. Mine ended up killing my Robertsoni and 2 Bandit cichilds. The only one that was left was my red hump Geo. Before he could kill him I took my red hump Geo out and now he's in my 240. I kept the RTM with no tankmates for about month then I finally ordered some Filament Barbs and had no where else to put them. So now they're in my 55 with my RTM. He tries to get them but the Filament Barbs are to fast. From what I read RTM can be nasty. But I wouldn't put them up there with Dovii and Umbee.. Good Luck on your RTM. Looks exactly like mine. haha

Yes... it is a Red tiger motaguense....thanks for venturing to guess and thanks for the info...have been wanting this fish since I saw them in a 1994 issue of The Cichlid News... in '94 lol...I had some parachromis back in the day sold as motaguense ,i believe were Friedrichstali...they definitely were not RTM... another time for that matter bought some managuense sold as Motaguense ...anyway l bought 2 more....glad to finally get some...I have seen some awesome specimens here and elsewhere...will be posting more pics as they settle in.....

Update ...
... They were sick (internal parasites?)up until about 2 weeks ago and not eating....white string feces.... Got real thin with sunken bellies Thought they all might be goners.... I found one dead...
.. but I think as much so from aggression... ...the two left seem ok now... Picture of the biggest.....
