Hello everyone I have been looking into getting a wave maker for my 125g S/A cichlid tank. I had a power head in there an it died out on me but all my fish used to love swimming in the current an now that it's gone they seem very sad. My question is how big of a wave maker can I put in my tank I have a canister filter runs about 400-500 gph but the current seems very low now that the power head is gone. I found a 800 gph wave maker off eBay for 6$ should I give it a try? Or is 800 gph too much for a 6 ft tank?

That's nothing. I run a 1400gph in a 75g and I still think its not enough. And don't waste your money on that ebay garbage. Get koralia or jebao if you're on a budget or vortech MPxx if you're a baller.
