I've been toying with the idea of setting up an intex pool for a while, but didn't want a big circular one and I don't really trust that they will hold water that long.
Today I found these newer pools made by Bestway on amazon. They are rectangular and have a few awesome sizes.

Has anybody tried these yet?

Thanks for the lead. I am really liking that 118" X 79" which is just over 1000gal. I've been contemplating a 1000gal plywood for the future, and starting off with this would be a great way (and cheap) to find out if a large tank is feasible for me..............without spending a ton of money and time to find out its "too much"

Yeah they have some really nice footprints. Ranging from 150g to 1000g.

Those look great. Iv been planning on doing this as well. Those are awesome finds. Hopefully someone can chime in that's used them before to give us some more info on how they hold up.

They look like a relatively new product. The first review on one was posted in July.

Thanks for the great post, I was about to order another intex, but when I saw this one (the nearly 1000 gal version), I had to go ahead and try it.
It appears to be the same build as the Intex, only bigger.

Those rectangular ones have been around for a while. They have them in all sizes on their site but some are hard to get because of availability. I started to buy one initially when I was going to get my first pool but I decided on the round and then bought a few more.

I have been using the round pools for a while in my basement. I have a 10' set up now with a big flathead catfish, chanel cats, bullheads, white and yellow perch and sunfish in it. I will be setting up my 12' for my koi when I bring them in for the winter.

What do you plan on putting in it, is the question?

Wow that big one is nice and cheap too! Wish I had room in my fishroom :)

Nothing yet. Probably won't get one anytime soon. Just thought I would share what I found.

They work pretty good. I don't see any downfalls with the liners. Pretty cheap to house fish of all sizes.
