Its got to be a wood cat mate don't look like either of mine though possibly this one but I'm no expert lol

Looks like Trachelyopterus galeatus, one of the most common woodcats in the trade, to me but better pics would help: http://www.planetcatfish.com/common/species.php?species_id=314
At first glance and probably the most commonly available of the Auchenipteridae i wasw thinking T galeatus, but on closer inspection i'm not to sure the dorsal looks a little too long to me (could be angle of pic) So it could also be Trachyelyopyerus fisheri, but better pix would help.

Woodcats are a huge family. Definitely check the cat-e-log on planetcatfish to see if you can narrow it down.
Aren't you in Sri-Lanka? Here in the US, I'd say yes if it is small, 3"-4".thanks for id
However, if it is rare (Wayne's ID #2 - is it rare?), IMO, all bets are off.
