Looking for a pump for my trickle filter.. Right now i'm running a laguna fountain pump (3000ghp) and its a great pump except for the noise level..

I would prefer a submersible pump but i'm open to other suggestions if given a good reason..

Anyone like to recommend a product.. It will be mounted basically right behind my head when i'm watching the tv so the sound level is pretty much critical.. Thanks in advance guys..

People generally seem to give more thought to it if you present them with a picture so here you go ;)

I have a Jebao DC 12000. It is very quiet and depending on head loss should be around what you are looking for in gph.

What kind of Gar is that?

:) What's wrong with Laguna? I just bought a pair for an upcoming build. They gonna give me trouble?
Look at the left bottom side on the picture of my tank..

They sound (after a while) like you are trying to blend a radiator while watching an old dog fighter movie.. Unless you are trying to break up/get even in an unusually cruel way i recommend you to stay away from the laguna..
