I have extra fx5 parts laying around. I would like to use the rest of the parts on my return pump for my sump project. I have a brand new hose 1 inch inside diameter I believe. I would also like to use the tank clamp hose holder this is the part that helps bend the hose over the top of the tank and also use the output nozzle. You guys think this would work? The fx5 tubing will be basically straight except going over the top of the tank.
My set up 180 gallon tank
cpr overflow box1500 gallons per hour two one inch bulk heads
Return pump is a lifeguard quiet one 6000
Does 1664 gph at 0 head height. I'm right at about 3.5 foot so for easy math I'll say 4 foot. Pump puts out 1321 gph at 4 foot of head.
Any help if this will be a good idea or not is much appreciated. Thanks.
