Guys what would the minimum tank size be for them ? Could the two live together ?

I have a recent thread asking about Vieja in my search for a good wet pet. The way I understand it, a single Vieja needs a 75 minimum and a pair needs at least a 125 to themselves. Whether two members of different species will get along (assuming they don't pair up) will depend entirely on the individual personalities of the fish in question. From what I've been told, it's unlikely to work though because they have very high conspecifics if they aren't a breeding pair.

Maybe try Vieja Argentea. They are an awesome Vieja and in my experience, mellow enough to not stir the pot, but tough enough to hold their own. I've kept them with many different tank mates and never had a problem.

I have a zonatus and regani together and they are super cool together. But the regani is a monster and my zonatus is not even a year old.
What size tank are they in

Its luck of the draw when it comes to aggression. All you can do is grow them out together and hope for the best. That comment about argentea being "mellow" , quite a few members here, who have/had these, will strongly disagree. But like I said, with any fish, it just luck of the draw and coming down to each individual fishs' personality/temperament
