Can anyone tell me whats up with the mouth here? Just picked this guy up for the wife and now shes worried its gonna die...

Still have him but dealing with one conplication after the other. Fish struggles to get to the top of the tank to breathe, so we dropped the water level 50%. It had a hole in its head we thought it was from being beaten up. Turns out its hole in the head two days later. Its blind. Very lifeless and i emphasize the lifeless part. Barely eats. Disappointed on the buy..... Wife is not happy
