Looks like a Madtom catfish. Is it relatively small 3-4" or less? I'm 99.9% that's what it is. If so they don't get big and have a painful dorsal/pectoral spine if it sticks you by accident. Very cool little catfish. They are in a lot of creeks and streams in SE Tennessee where I live. Quite a few different species of them as well. All stay pretty small. They like cooler temperatures for the most part and clean water with some current. They like rocks and driftwood to hide under. Make sure you provide some hiding spots. Almost totally nocturnal as well. Any kind of meaty foods will be eaten by them. Without looking it up, it may be a Tadpole Madtom catfish. Just a guess.I will check on that id for you.
