my friend is giving away a 4" kelberi bass and i really want it for my tank but i dont know if my Tiger Oscar will eat it (hes 7-8") its a 110 gallon tank but they will be in a bigger tank soon. so is it worth it?
Not true. How big is the Kel? If it's not at least 5" already I wouldn't risk it unless you egg crate divide it.An oscar won't be able to corner it long enough to pick on it

Reeally I've kept 3 inch temensis and grew them out a little bit in a 100 gallon with a pair of oscars about that size they made those oscars look clumsy and sluggish and from my experience peacocks are far more aware of their surroundings than any other fish I've owned with speed and precision I would worry more about the oscar being dive bombed unless kelberi's are way different than temensis which I really doubtNot true. You still might do well to just avoid the risk, until it's around 7 inches. Its actually 5"
