23" Polypterus endlicheri endlicheri "Lake Chad" at the back. My first ever wild caught endlicheri since 2007. Got her when she was around 9". Sold her back in 2012 and got her back for free as the owner gave up the hobby. The one on the front is a 21" Polypterus endlicheri endlicher "Tinkisso River". I got her on 2008 also sold her back in 2012 and got her back for free.

Luckily I got them for free. Was gonna give up the hobby back in 2012-2013 but these 2 came back and got me going again.

More shot. Massive heads compare to the smaller 18" captive breed.

Great perspective shot. Most people can reflect to a 18" Bichir, few can relate to ones that large. dam those are huge

To a lot of people a 18" is big already till you have a bichir that is 20"+ then 18" are just small now.

Agreed the difference between an "average" 17/18" Bichir and a 20"+ is exponential. Yours are phenomenal. Love the massive heads on them
