I just upgraded my 300 Glass (fresh water chiclids and other aggressive fish) to a 750 Acrylic. On the glass I had 3 good canisters and the water was crystal clear. The acrylic is clear but not crystal clear.

New tank has a big wet dry system with overflow.

Should I give it more time to clear up since the tank is a few days old? Is a wet dry enough?

If you have a turn over around 5x-10x it'll clear up within a couple days. You're probably going through a little beneficial bacterial bloom because it is a new tank. But once the bb finds a surface to cling to you should have crystal clear water

Good news is: there is a silver bullet:

Patience.

You're absolutely right, give it some time.
