Aquarium Adventure may have it or be able to order it? Not sure about the Bolingbrook location but the Hoffman Estates store usually has a pretty good selection of tanks in stock and can order the stuff they dont. That said, they are a bit pricey.
Also, maybe Aqua Pros in Glen Ellyn? They are a small reef store, but they seem to be able to order tanks. Plus they are willing to work on pricing. I recently bought a tank from them a couple months back and was able to talk them down on the price a bit. Some good guys running that shop.

Hope one of them works out for you, that's a tough one. I'm not sure I've ever seen a 40 long before.
Wait, maybe that was a 33 long I saw. It's footprint is 12x48 and it's super short. They may have both...
