Dragonblood Color Variants

I was under the impression the dragon blood only came in pink/red. I no expert though, but I do enjoy the hybrids/line breeds gt eve come out with.

Dragonbloods are hybrids so there are quite a few color variants. It all depends on what males the breeder selectively chose to get a certain color. Dragonbloods, Tangerines, Strawberry, Fire fish...all the same fish just depends on what the breeder wants to call it.

He's about 6"

Thanks for the info here! I was under the impression thag Dragons Blood/Firefish and Strawberry peacocks were actually two different fish/strains...
Didn't realize they were both just Dragons Blood...

Kind of like different variations and names of OB peacocks are just all OB hybrids? (OrangeBlossom, Blueberry, etc?) Saw a cool looking black/grey OB type today at my LFS...
