Glass and acrylic thicknesses

I am going to be building a pond liner plywood tank that is 90"x48"x36". I have looked at the calculators of how thick the glass should be, but I'd like some people the chime in with what they think, so I make sure I was understanding them right. I am thinking of doing 3 separate windows for the front so that they don't have to be so thick, so I am interested to know how much thinner I can go in that case. So how thick the following would have to be:
Glass -
1 window 90"x36"
3 windows x 30"x36"
Acrylic -
1 window 90"x36"
3 windows x 30"x36"

While length has a bit to do with glass or acrylic thickness needed, height is much, much more important. Either glass or acrylic you will need the same thickness for whichever route you go. I haven't checked with any calculators, but I imagine at 36" you'd probably want 3/4" glass and at least an inch acrylic. I would find one of the calculators online to confirm this though.

Don't forget if you do multiple smaller sized windows, you will hve to compensate with very strong bracing to hold them in place
