I plan to keep 1 Laprologus Ocellatus gold and one altolamprologus compressiceps in a 30 gallon. Kept at 80 degrees and filtered with an aquaclear 110.

Your question is? The AC110 may create too much current. Don't need 80 degree temperature either. 76-78 degrees will be fine.
