I have 9 lemon tetras and 6 Geophagus orange head tapajos in a 90G tank. The tetras all have thick black band on their anal fins so I thought they were all males.

Just a week ago, the lemon tetra became much more active than before, chasing each other vigorously in high speed. They usually do this on daytime, and remain as a shoal at night. I didn't put that on mind, as chasing seems to be a normal social behaviour.

However, this morning, I noticed one of them(fatter than before, thought it was bloat), became the target of all the other tetra. From time to time, the fat tetra was pushed into some java fern. I can't see any eggs, but my eartheater will graze in the bush after that.

Do you think the tetras are spawning? I never thought of them breeding as I considered them all males.
