New fish and feeding video

I recently got a 8 1/2 florida gar for my new 55 gallon tank.(NOTE THIS TANK IS NOT HIS PERMANENT HOME) I wanted to go with another fish that would stay at the bottom that wouldn't bother the Florida gar. I was thinking about getting a jaguar cichlid but when I got to the store I knew right away I was getting that fish. It was this beautiful tiger datnoid. Not to aggressive and gets big. Perfect. Picked it up for around 50$ along with some feeders. Came home acclimated it and put it in. Then put in some rosy red minnows for the gar and the datnoid at 5. Here is a video of them both
