So i have been playing with the idea of getting and african arrowana for some time now. I the research i have done some say they are weak and fragile when young and die easy others have said they are like most other young fish in terms of fragility in that they are not as hardy as the adults. also some people seem to have had a hard time getting them to eat, but this could be due to the fact they are filter feeders, if i am not mistaken, so they don't eat as much in a single moment but eat little bits through out the day.

So was wondering what kind of experience all the african arrowana tamers here have had? also how is does their diet change as they get older?
