Hey All... I live in Florida and keep my tanks outside on my lanai. It's starting to get cold so I need to plug my heaters back in. My main tank has a stock tank with five 300w glass heaters on a Johnson Controls HVAC controller. I want to implement the same type of system on my 75g tanks. However, the heaters need to go inside the tanks and it would be best if they weren't glass.

I normally run two 300w in each tank. This will normally keep the tanks around 72 on the coldest nights. Daytime temperatures here in FL aren't normally an issue.

What heaters would you recommend for me?

Thanks... I had found the titanium Heaters but didn't know if Finnex was a good brand. I see that there are 600w ones available too.

The bucket heater is interesting but scary. LOL

I misread. There wasn't a 600w. I ended up getting three of the 800w.

Thanks again!

I have some FinEx titanium heaters that have been in service nearly 3 years.

Excellent. I will probably switch all my heaters over to these. I am done with heaters with built in thermostats. It seems like I go through a few a year. I just throw them on my Johnson Controls thermostat, but it will be nice to have these.
