Hi guys,

One of my ponds only has aerator on it. The filter is being serviced for a couple of weeks already. Why do insee a 0 ammonia, zero nitrate and zoro nitrite reading? Its an open pond with nothing much but drift wood.

Bump!

Hmmm... Just driftwood and very few plants. Houses a buetikofferri tilapia and giraffes. Btw, its a concrete pond. A lot of oxygen.

The algae and whatever plants you have are taking care of the ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate.
