What kind of bichir is this??

We purchased this Bichir from our local fish store a few days ago. Soon as we saw her (we think its a her?) We knew she was coming home with us!
The fish guy didnt know what type of Bichir, and we have done some googling but still aren't sure since were rather unfamiliar with Bichirs.
Shes about an inch over a foot long, and has a flat head.

I was reading on this site about other foods,
But she really seems to enjoy the hunt of it. And the fish store said they had a hard time getting her to eat.
Whats something else that would be healthier and she could still hunt?
