Just in case you don't know glass will be in two sections, and in my opinion the best option for controlling evaporation. Have you tried sources such as craigslist or even eBay.

why dont you make your own? Go to your local home improvement store and ask where they have acrylic panels. DO NOT buy acrylic, its expensive and it WILL bow unless its at least a 1/4 inch thick (which will cost a lot). There's a cheaper plastic base product which is basically acrylic but cheaper and it wont bow. Its called lexan,

if its a homedepo or lowes you can even have them cut it for you and ask for the scraps to be cut into a inch by 2 or 3 inches and simply super glue it when you get home so you have somewhere to grab to open the lid easily.

Or you could just buy them new which is around 45 dollars shipped.

Me personally would buy the panels and cut them for my specific needs. As in one side having holes for filters and then the other being in two pieces so I can easily open it rather than taking the whole lid off to feed.

edit: if you go the lexan way you can get the thinnest cheapest one as it wont bow. good luck,
