Let me start off by saying that I've always been impressed by large fish. I'm setting up a 210 gallon tank and I was thinking about surpassing my usual cichlid tank for something new.
So, my question is this... What is the largest fish that could comfortably live in a 7x2x2 aquarium for the entirety of it's life?
I look forward to seeing what ideas people come up with and hopefully finding myself a new centerpiece wet pet.

I've heard a lot of good things about them and I hear they have great personalities however I'm not much of one for puffers. Thanks for the suggestion though. Feel free to keep them coming

It'd probably be fine for life and level out growth at around 16-18" however they can get 24" but that'd take a long time. My vote is Smallmouth Bass

I'd prefer to stay away from natives although, I do love fishing for small mouth. I'm looking for one single monster of a show stopper. A fish that will catch the attention of people who aren't familiar with the hobby and make them want to know more.

Maybe something in the Hydrolycus genus then. I've always loved those fish, unfortunately an armatus wouldn't be to happy in my 75G.

African Tiger Fish!! I am not sure whether it could live it's entire life in a 210, so double check on that, but would definitely be a cool fish that would catch people's attention.
