Heyo, I'm looking for some plant suggestions and I am completely clueless about plants. I bought some today at the store after being assured that "no fish ever eats this type of plant." Yah, well my Mesonauta seems to disagree with that assessment. Are there any plants out there that truly get left alone? I'm thinking I might be limited to java moss or somesuch, but I've seen fish eat that even.

i've herd some people have success with anubias plants. They are also low light and a good beginner plant.

That was a suggestion too, but at the cost of 25 dollars each without knowledge if they will be eaten or not...
Don't they need to be tied on to driftwood as well?

Yah I get the feeling that a fish that is known for preferring lettuce over flake might be rather indiscriminate. :/

It's a shame cause my geophagus is a lot calmer with plants around and the bichirs love them!
