How often you feed endlicheri

Hello I have about 9 inch endlicheri once he eats something chunky like filet or prawn he want eat for 2-3 days is this normal how often you feed

That's typically normal , takes a day or two for them to completely digest the chunks of filet. I feed my bichir every other day, sometimes will skip extra day depending on what bichir's were fed that day. For example if poly's ate earthworm's I wouldn't feed until two days later.:)

I fed Tilapia filets two days ago and my Endlis were stuffed. Yesterday I fed some of my other fish thinking the Endlis wouldn't eat but all three still drug their full bellies over to the pellets and chowed down.

I have always fed mature bichirs 5 days per week only because I always have a yearling or two in the tank. IMO every other day would be best if all bichirs were past the rapid growth phase of the first 18 months

Feed too much and your endi will look like this.......
Sad part is this pic is from last year and he is even fatter now

i feed mine 1-2 times a day everyweek... i feed him at least 2worms then he wont eat anymore.. the next day, he will beg for food again lol sometimes i skip one day in a week just to rest him up a bit :)

is now 5th day he want eat he still look fat im worried is something wrong with him he might eat at night some MASSIVORE DELITE.but hi is not interested in prawns or fish filets.

I never saw my synodontis, ornate, or weeksi, but yet every time i see them they are larger and fatter for some reason, i would feed at night maybe, and not worry to much because a fat bichir like that can last probably 3 months or more with out food.
