My friend is looking for someone to take a used 150G (60"x24"x24") off him for completely free and he even said he'd help get it to my house. Problem with it is the ENTIRE tank needs resealed and for someone who's never sealed any part of a tank before I have a feeling this would take a lot of time, space in my garage, frustration, and money. Do you guys think it's worth it?

Yes the only thing it's going to take is time.
reseals are easy. Just buy a tube or the 14 dollar calk gun size tube of tank seale,r aqueon sealer I've seen on the shelf.
For 55 and under tanks I use the GE 1 with great results but a tank of that volume yer gonna want the calk size tube of tank sealer.

Others that have used GE 1 on bigger tanks will chime in as to if it will hold or not.
