so I have had my two clouded archers for about 6 months but today I noticed one was not quite on its side but diagonal, so I was thinking oh man he is really sick.

But I feed the fish and he perked right up and and gobbled some down but when the other archer approached him he again went diagony/partly sideways and he would change from right to left side as well, occassionaly staying that way until the other archer was not looking at him.

Now I hope this is not sickness but it seems like submissive behavior, similar to that with dogs. Anyone ever have this with their fish?

Most species of fish have a pecking order, and the archer seems to become submissive when the dominant archer comes near it.

BTW sorry did not completely finish reading your thread, but you are correct with the analysis.
