So I won a goody bag from a raffle at my last fish auction. It contained a lot of varied fish foods. Not bad for $1. Anyway one of the foods is reef flakes from ocean nutrition. Says it is good for all tropical fish. But seems geared more towards salt water.

Should it be fine to give to my fresh water community tank periodically?

Also had a HUGE container of goldfish specific flakes. Figured could mix these with normal flakes like a filler..... hate to waste em

Other contents were
2 jars FD blood worms
1 jar FD tubifex worms
1 container Vegi Flakes
1 Jar of brine shrimp starter for fry
10 root tabs

The vegi and reef flakes were the $16-20 size and the goldfish flake is big enough for a softball to fit in (containers not with me cant remember sizes)

It'll be fine. I feed raw shrimp, mussel, silver sides, squid to my arrowana and catfish all the time. No problems with them at all except they grew too fast.
