Seems lately I cant find any place that has ghost shrimp. Petsmart told me they can only order 12 at a time???

Very bizarre. Anyone know why?

maybe it's not profitable for them.. and it will take time to breed it with adds some cost on it and could not cover their spendings.. i dunnoe.. from my perspective haha

Petco smart etc used to have them by the truckload. Now lately seems like they are not profitable?

Everytime im In there most folks are asking about them. Maybe the breeders are having problems. Demand being more than supply maybe

im working on the marbled crayfish in the meantime

ouuhh.. tht's unlucky .. i recommend breeding some on ure own :) u use them as feeders right?
breeding them would be alright, but I'm fairly certain tey need brackish water annnnnd thats not something I really want to undertake haha. I use them as tank maintenance crews haha, some get eaten but mostly I just buy them when I can to restock my tanks when they go missing.

ghost shrimp? hmm you sure? I've read/been told they need a brackish environment in the larval stage, I'll read back up on it.
I've had them spawn before in FW....I guess my experience was a rare occurrence if thats the case
