Hey guys after a lot of research I've decided to do gym is again since my tank rebuild is coming along good. I would like to do meridionalis. But the info I can find on them is very slim. I'd like to do 5-6 in my 36x13 40 gallon just drift wood and sand maybe some large rocks. I'm looking for any info on these fish and maybe some suggestions on lighting for them

Gymnos are pretty easy to take care of if you keep up on water changes and let them have a cool down period in the winter. Honestly 5 to 6 may be pushing it for a 40g but you can thin them as they mature. Try searching G. ex-meridionalis for more info.
