Thanks guys. Any londerners got an opinion? Need to know what they are worth in london especially as that's where I am basedI youst bought three irwinis.
Two about 12 cm for 29 Euro and one with 20 cm for 75 Euro.
There are a few other ones with 20 cm for 89 Euro in the Internet.
I am located in Germany.
For bigger ones i dont know exactly but i remeber i saw a 30 cm one for 250,- Euro.
Well, I've got 3 irwini coming lol... 8", 9" and a 20" so I was just curious haha. I'll probably keep them as I've been after them for a while and I'm picking up another 260g just for these to keep them going until the 2,820g pond is ready (12ft diameter x 4ft deep)On our side of the pond, ~3"-ers are ~$20-$40. Bigger, IDK. Can only guess 8"-9" would be ~$50-$100. 20" - forget it, an arm and a leg, unless a conscientious owner re-homing, like this owner with an ~15"-20" irwini from Winsconsin http://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=29042
Haha well that's ok. I guess I'm just happy I've finally found somePaid £30 for a 15" one a couple of years ago. Really slow growing and get fat very easily if you try to feed to much. They don't go for much on Aquarists classifieds as even though they look good, they are really boring fish that just hide as soon as they have fed. Mine looks amazing for the 3 minutes a day I see it! ; )

Oh no no dw! I didn't take that negatively lol. I've been after these for god knows how long lol. So I'm just psyched to be getting them hahaYeah sorry, didn't mean to sound negative! Just re read my post! They are great fish, just watch out for their tendency to over eat! They end up looking really fat without growing any quicker. I have led lighting which probably doesn't help with seeing it more often.
