I have a grow out tank with a ac70 right now its doing well, good parameters.
I want to add more filtration to it. I have a fluval 305 empty with no media and certain parts I could set up or pick up a ac110 or 70 on craigslist. Any advice? Im leaning towards ac110

I mean...if you already have a filter...

long run I'd go with the 110, its a better filter but I also wouldn't spend the money if I already had a different one.

Where the heart is!!!
Both are pretty good filters and rated for 100 gallons. While I like the AC110 (I own both btw), if I already have the 405, I'd set it up and save some loot.

Oops...thought it was a 405 rather than a 305. I think I'd get the AC110. ;-)

Yeah I'd compare the 110 to the 405 not the 305....I'd go with the 110 over the 305 any day

Yeah seems like I was right. I will get the ac110 instead of the 305. When I get the 180 I will deff have a sump or another higher grade canister. Thanks everyone

AC110 is the way to go IMO.
