Hey I have a 200 gallon that is pretty empty with a female jaguar, female red terror and male jack Dempsey all at 6inches. They are all pretty skittish and hide a lot and I was looking for something to spread aggression and maybe bring them out of hiding. I was thinking about 4 silver dollars and maybe 1 or 2 other cichlids. I just need some advice on what specific species and how many would be good because I don't want to just waste my money and have them all killed. Thanks :)

silver dollars are pretty tough and generally you can find cheaper types if you are concerned about them getting beat up.

My salvinis kill every dither but my silver dollars. Just picked up some spotted silver dollars at petsmart for $2 each

Add some male convicts I'd say. Males or females exclusively, to avoid fry.

Though this could result in hybrids, so probably safer with the SD's lol

Not sure how long the jd will last with the red terror and jag. If you are set on adding more cichlids, if go for equally agressive ones so they stand a chance. Salvinis are my personal favorite and are pretty nasty. I'd recommend one female
