designing and setting a custom sump up please help

well have a 30g tank here 30x12x19 and im looking to toss some dividers in it to split up the pump, media and socks.... I will have 2 1" drain drop down into a pair of socks, then flow into the media which will be in the centre and then over into the last chamber to were the pump is to send back up into the tank... here is a pic to show the room that im dealing with for the socks and pumps

pump is so big I have to take sponge off of it, and I have a pair of 16" jager heaters to go in there somehow, how high should I have the dividers, also do I need weirs in there as well. can anyone help maybe with some tips better idea or thought towards mine
