Don't worry about too many questions. You are trying to educate yourself. Unless you are wanting it too grow very quickly, I would suggest you limit to once or twice daily. If you are concerned about asking too many questions try using the search button on the upper right corner of every page. Example: gar AND feeding. By putting the AND in caps it will look for both words together in a thread. That way it won't give the results that only contain one of the words.

I have fed all of my gars as much as they can stomach by always having feeders in the tank, mine also grew an inch per week. I recommend always keeping feeders in the tank, you don't have to grow your gar fast but I don't see why you'd prevent your gar from being full.
