I just saw a zebra pleco and fell in love. Unfortunately they stay too small to risk putting them with an oscar, so I was wondering if there are any larger versions of them, basically? I know the royal pleco but it just isn't as bold and vibrant as the zebra.

Nothing like the perfectly banded black and white boldness of a zebra as far I know. If your looking for black and white with a little size, I would go for a vampire (L240). Better suited to live with your oscar. They'll run much cheaper too

I recently picked up a l333 (I think) and so far I'm very happy with it, very strong black and whites on mine, comes out occasionally in the day so I actually see him. they are supposed to get about 6 inches tl, might work with a fish Oscar sized, might not too though. There are some others in hypancistrus family that also show the black striping, most are smaller though not as small as a zebra. Really though none are as sharp and have the same coloring as the zebra.
