So does anybody else use moon lights for their tanks with knife fish? Also what's the best way to get them to come out and socialize during the day? Currently in a 120 with a 12" wolf 18" sa lung 12" poly teugelsi and 4" hydrolycos tatuaia knife is about 7"

During the day you can try keeping the lights off, it can make a difference.
I have a 12" ghost knife and his tank is not lit during the day and only moderate room light in an evening. He shoots in and out of his tube all the time but if lights are bright he hides. Not tried blue moon but would like to. Only offer food during the day may get you a bit more action
