He told me when I got it from him that it was worth $300 to the right buyer he said I may just have to wait for it. That's why I traded him my 5 inch spoon head NGT. Now I regret it knowing that!!! :what:
In that case I will just hang on to him :/

I'd say he's definetly worth 200-300 but not many people are willing to pay that much money for a fish imo. He's a beautiful fish though I wanted him

What would you consider for a trade?

Most specialty fish (especially the ones that get the size of a small dog, and need a large tank all to themselves) have a very select audience.
There may be 50 people that will pay what you'd want, but in all probability live 2 states, or 2 countries away, and the cost of shipping that fish add another couple hundred $$ to the price tag, making it financially out of reach, and chancy at best to arrive alive, unless sent by a very experienced shipper.
A few years back, Herichthys beani had a $200 -$300 price tag. By the time I had lots of fry I was lucky to get $2 each, had to ship to other states, and ended up giving many away.
Same scenario when I had hundreds of haitiensus fry.

Yeah just hang on to it.You'll come across another NGT sooner or later though maybe not a spoon head.
