Can Frontosa Live With Meaner African Cichlids

Hello,

I have a 450 gallon with african cichlids and when I put frontosa in there they always die within a week. Can they live with there with meaner afrcan cichlids? [like malawi eye biters, venustus, etc.]

I have a 14" Burundi with around 25 predator haps and peacocks ranging from 5-12" and he does fine and holds his own. The larger predator haps includes Venustus, Buccochromis rhoadesii, D. Kwinge, Champsochromis, Tyrannochromis, and a few others. As long as he is larger he should be fine. They are in a 220 gallon.
