Never seen these before....saw it at my LFS on display...Looked cool, probably a pain in the butt to clean. However, it did look larger than 28 gallons...even though it's slightly less than 28 gallons. Anyone have one of these set up?

Ah, from what I remember the biorb has been around for a while. Cool looking but like you said, must be a pain to clean.

Google "biobubble pets", this came out fairly recently and looks even worse to clean, but the layout of it is a pretty neat concept.

+1, they look horrible IMO... Plus I can only imagine the living hell of fish swimming about in them lol

lol, if the conditions are kept nice im not sure the fish would mind as long as there was plenty of cover.

A mate of mine has actually got a gumball machine tank , he knows nothing about fish it was a surprise b day gift off his wife , it cost her £900 I did try and put her off the idea when she asked me about it before buying , I could have got him an amazing setup for that price :banghead: but she bought it anyway , he tried parrot fish and a royal plec and failed miserably , then blue lobsters they all died , then a knife fish he had to get rid of and now its sat in storage somewhere doing nothing , what a waste of money :(:banghead::thumbdown:

Because he's no idea about fish mate "what's a water change " and "it'll be fine " comes out of his mouth a lot lol :D his water probably fried his fish to death , if I had it (might end up with it one day) I'd put either loads of neons or two fancy goldfish in it , its pretty big on the stand its 6foot tall , I reckon the tank bits as big as the biggest biorb tanks
Still a crap tank and waste of £900 though lol :D
