Hi all :)
Last night we had a short power outage. When the power came back on, my fluvals didn't restart. Like always it took around 20 minutes of turning them off and on for them to restart, hours later. Does anyone have a technique they use for this situation?? Both Fluvals have been recently serviced so they are free flowing. One motor was replaced about a year ago.
Thanks in advance :)

If you are referring to cannister filters, I find them hard to start after tearing down, but not just from being unplugged. Did it lose it's prime? Was the return out of the water when the power went off?

Ooops, yes canister. Didn't lose its prime, return line is submerged. I could hear a slight humm, but no flow. I wonder if this could burn my motor out.
