So I am plumbing one loop using 1.5" PVC but one of the 3 pieces of equipment on this loop (media reactor) has a .5" inlet. Do I need to calculate the pump head pressure based on a nominal diameter of 0.5" for the entire system or can I use 1.5" plus add something for nominal head loss? The loop is ~13' running in total. I am using the online calculator from AES btw.
On a related note, does anyone know Albertan? My set up is similar but it doesn't look like he has been online since July. I've got a few q's
