Two are really nice almost twins. About 12". Three years old or so. All are tearing my females up. Had to separate them. All in pictures are males. I have one smaller male also that is over three years old and probably only 9".

Don't know how much size has to do with it. If she wants it - she will let happen. I have a 9" male breeding with a 13" Hystrix female no problem.
