I sold my 350 recently due to not liking the acrylic tank. I'm again going to get another tank and going with glass this time. I'm debating on the Marineland 300DD (72x36x27) or 265 (85x24x30). The 300 will have Starfire glass that comes with it.

Will be running an eheim 2262 and 2180 on it along with ac110's and wavemakers. The occupants will be some chocolates, electric blue acara for sure. Also, thinking of some torpedo barbs and loach's/Cory's for bottom.

Opinions on which?

Id go with the 265, I like its foot print more, plus good luck vacuuming that deep tank ! lol
Thanks....I'm going with shorter stand than I had on my 350. That was a lessoned learned lol

Definitely the 300. The width opens up new doors.

If moving it into the house isn't an issue, I'd go with the 300DD. Got to love super wide tanks

The 27" will allow it to fit with ease....just go in sideways. I had to do that with my 350 also.
