So one of my LFS has a bichir labeled as "Lrg Bichir" and I'm trying to figure it out. It's about 9" and they have it priced at $40. I don't have a picture but I can sort of describe it. It's darker brown, sort of a chocolate color. Not really any stripes but I'm not sure if it's an upper or lower jaw species. Maybe some type of palmas? Any pictures you all have can probably help me out. The substrate is sort of like river rock. Maybe that is why he is so dark.
