Possible male festae? Out of the searching I've done there were some wild males with similar colors and body shape. Could be a hybrid of some sort, but if so what possible mixes? Was a trade in at LFS with unknown ID. Thanks!

He is pretty amazing. Love his colors. He's also a total monster. Loves to bite lol. Just would love to figure out what he could be. Maybe be able to find a possible female for him.

In the latest pics, I can see some indications of mayan - probably a mayan X flowerhorn - It's one of those fish that you just won't ever know - I'd gloss it over as a flowerhorn. Done.

Amazing beauty of a fish.
