Im looking at buying a new canister filter and have narrowed it down to two. Price isnt really an issue, its only a $30 difference. So if anyone has some first hand advice from these two products that'd be great. It will be for a 65gal tank, medium bio load, weekly waterchanges of 30%+. The two filters are the Marineland C-360 and the Fluval 406.

C360 holds more media uses more electricity by 10 watts but flows less.

The 406 holds less media uses less energy but flows more.

I have them both continue to use them both but I think the fluval is easier maintenance wise.

My experience is the Fluval will last longer.

I've never owned a Marineland canister, but I've read about a lot of issues with them. I would go with the Fluval and save on the electrical consumption (and possibly failure headaches)

Ok thanks everyone. Seems like spending the extra cash will be worth it in the end.
